February 19-25, 2012 has been designated Engineers Week 2012. Engineers Week is an exciting time for engineers and scientists across the country. Engineers get involved with their communities via national, regional and local programs, carrying on a tradition that began in 1952. The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) will this year be the national society chair for National Engineers Week 2012.

This coming year, in a continuing effort to make this a valley-wide event, the Engineer’s Week – Greater Phoenix Area activities are being organized by a committee of professional engineering and science organizations throughout the area. We are please to bring you these exciting events for E-Week 2012:
- Legislative Luncheon - On the Lawn Thursday, February 23, 2012 (11AM-1 PM).
- Engineers Day – February 25, 2012. A science fair event at the Arizona Science Center.
- Awards Gala -Engineer’s Week Awards Gala on Thursday, February 23, 2012 will recognize engineers, students, educators and projects that have made outstanding contributions to the profession.
