ENGINEERS WEEK® 2008

The National Society of Professional Engineers has designated Engineer's Week 2008 from February 17 to February 23. Engineer’s Week is an exciting time for engineers and scientists across the country. Engineers get involved with their communities via national, regional and local programs, carrying on a tradition that began in 1952.

This coming year, in a continuing effort to make this a valley-wide event, Engineer’s Week – Greater Phoenix Area will be organized by a committee of professional engineering and science organizations throughout the area. We are planning exciting events for E-Week 2008.

• Outreach - Engineers visit schools and community organizations. Request a visit to your school, just fill out the online outreach request form .
• “Engineers Day” at the Arizona Science Center.
• Engineer’s Week Awards to recognize engineers, students, educators and projects that have made outstanding contributions to the profession.
• E-week Banquet will include presentation of the awards and a dynamic guest speaker.

We ask for your support in helping us make Engineers Week 2008 the best yet.
